Appoint Us Services is a Community Interest Company working closely with the local community, providing a wide range of person centred services. All of our services are individually tailored and we pride ourselves in being a unique organisation. We have an office in Coventry but can provide our services throughout the UK.
We are accredited as a genuine social enterprise – the Social Enterprise Mark is an independent guarantee that we put the interests of people & planet above shareholder gain. We have been externally assessed against sector-agreed criteria and have proved our commitment to using profits and income to create benefits for society and the environment.
We are part of a growing international network of accredited social enterprises, which have been assessed as meeting a robust and credible standard for social enterprise, as upheld by an independent Certification Panel. Social enterprises are trading businesses that reinvest income and profits to address social and environmental issues, above that of shareholder profit motivations. Through social enterprise, businesses like ours can operate with a positive impact on the world we live in.

I have a background as Service Manager for the Appointee and Support Team in a charity for the preceding 14 years to setting up Appoint Us Services.

These are a few of our staff who come from a variety of experienced backgrounds such as Department of Work and Pensions, Nursing, Advocacy, Appointee, Care and Support . We also contract Independent Community Psychiatric Nurses, Social Workers etc
We are therefore able to offer a wide variety of quality services.
What being a CIC is all about – Our Community Projects
As a CIC all of our staff and our customers are members of our company. Profits we make are committed to going back into helping the community. By purchasing a service from our company you too are helping to give back to the local community.
Appoint Us have so far supported:
- The Staff Teams of Warwick, UHCW and George Eliot by donating hampers of tea. coffee, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, soups, treats, biscuits etc for the staff of every ward
- The Children’s Ward at Warwick hospital by donating electronic tablets for the children who are patients
- The Aylesford unit by donating packs for patients
- SCBU at Birmingham, Coventry and Warwick by donating prem baby clothes, blankets, canula sleeves and monetary donations
- Trussell Trust – by being agents for foodbank vouchers and work with Food Bank by donating food and other requested items. We also try to offer support to people who use Food Bank. For more information see the Trussell Trust Website
- UHCW – by raising funds for the Breast Cancer Unit
- Acorns Children’s Hospice – by donating funds and raffle prizes and supporting at events
- Local homeless projects – by donating furniture and other requested items
- Coventry Haven – supporting victims of Domestic violence
- Dementia Community Hubs offering support and advice and complementary therapy sessions
- Caring for Carers by providing therapy sessions to the cared for and the carers
- Local care homes by supporting with events and fundraising, providing quiz nights etc
- Pamela Britton Trust
- Other local Community projects – by supporting their events
- Our own Community Cafe, which is hosted at a variety of locations, tackling issues such as social isolation/loneliness and areas of deprivation
